Beginner Aerial Classes
Take your first steps into the wonderful world of circus, no prior experience needed! Trapeze Las Vegas offers classes to get all ages and fitness levels started in aerial and circus arts. We offer several types of classes tailored to get beginners of all ages started in the wonderful world of circus. Class offerings vary from session to session and not all listed courses are available each session. All classes are subject to availability and student minimums. Youth & Teen Classes
Circus Tots
Circus tots is our parent & me circus experience. Guided by a coach, students ages 3-7 learn basic movement, coordination and simple aerial skills within the framework of guided fun and circus arts. Parents remain with their children during this session and one of our professional coaches is on-hand to facilitate the session. Various courses are set up for students to learn tumbling, body movement/dance, acrobatics, basic aerial, and loads of other fun activities designed to keep little bodies moving and learn fine motor skills. Participation in this type of class also aids your little ones in getting used to waiting their turn and working on assigned skills while the coach moves about assisting other students. Siblings welcome for this class and potty trained is requested. Please contact us for full information and availability. A minimum of 2 consistent students is needed to hold this class.

Circus 1
Circus 1 is offered as a 2-hour lesson. Available for youth and teens. Participants will experience a mix of aerial and ground activities such as flexibility, conditioning, balancing, acrobatics, and more. The goal is to familiarize new students with aerial apparatus, terminology, and to build their overall strength and conditioning to make sure they can safely work in the air. Ground skills are always an excellent complement to circus training. Appropriate for ages 8+. Youth and Teens are arranged accordingly, please contact us for placement and session availability.

Aerial Level 1
Aerial Level 1 is offered for youth and teens is a 1-hour class designed for first-time circus students. A variety of apparatus: Silk, Hammock, Lyra, Single/Static Trapeze are used. Participants learn the basics of terminology, moves, and are led through exercises to build their strength and familiarize themselves with circus aerial. Aerial Level 1 is essential for all students to progress through in order to branch out into more specialized skills as well as focus on single apparatuses. The goal is always building strength and confidence so students can work safely in the air. Appropriate for ages 8+ Youth and Teens are arranged accordingly, please contact us for placement and session availability.

Silk/Lyra 1
Focusing specifically on silk and lyra, this is perfect for beginner aerial students who want a challenge. Apparatus choice is at coach’s discretion based on student readiness for each apparatus. Students will learn the basics of working on fabric silks, grip strength, wrist and foot locks, basic poses, and climbing. Lyra will focus on proper grip and body positioning, strength conditioning, and introductory poses. Appropriate for ages 8+ Youth and Teens are arranged accordingly, please contact us for placement and session availability.

Adult Classes
Circus 1 Adults
Circus 1 for adult beginners is a 2-hour lesson. Limited to 4, participants will experience 1 hour of aerial training and 1 hour of ground activities such as flexibility, conditioning, balancing, acrobatics, and more. Beginners will learn the basics of terminology, intro moves, plus some fun and pretty positions on a variety of apparatus. Please contact us for all class availability. Older teens may join the adults with instructor approval.
